The history of Villa Cappugi is tied to the History of the land where the beautiful Pistoia city rises up. The Villa was built at the end of the 800’s for the summer Residence of the Counts Cappugi, and it has had several refurbishments to become the terrific Villa of these days. The name “Cappugi” comes from its first owners, that used the Villa for their long lasting holidays.
The Villa preserves the original nineteenth-century structure and it is decorated with original Renaissance frescos. One of the last renovations brought back to life the decorated and fascinating ceilings with their typical frames. In the external area was built a beautiful swimmingpool and the large english style park was kept untoched with its majestic plants.
From the Villa you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama, where the typical Tuscan hills embrase the unmistakable skyline of the city. Now the Villa holds its ancient magnificence and it gives you the opportunity to enjoy your stays or to celebrate your own events in a sober and a refined setting with all the modern comforts.
